Duct Area Safety Nets
Duct area safety nets are specialized nets installed across the open tops or floors of vertical shafts in apartment buildings. These ducts, used for ventilation, electrical conduits, and plumbing, present a significant fall hazard and serve as entry points for birds and pests if left unprotected.
Our duct nets are manufactured using fine-mesh, UV-stabilized nylon or HDPE materials that block access by birds, rodents, and debris while maintaining adequate air circulation through the shaft. The mesh size is selected based on the specific protection requirement.
Installation is performed level by level, with the net panels custom-cut and secured to the duct walls using corrosion-resistant hardware. The entire installation is completed with minimal disruption to building residents and does not interfere with the duct's functional purpose.
